WHat CNKS said!Just take it apart,clean it up and put it back together.Ive heard saok the seal and not soak the seal so Ill leave that up to others to decide for you.Ive heard soaking the seal and then putting it all back together with the seal wicked in oil can cause the housing to crack.Ive done it like this with good result.Soak it good like overnite,then ring out the excess and put it in.I have only done this a couple of times or so and have never had any problems with anything breaking or wearing out quicker.
