I was able to get an IH fuel tank from a pile of scrap a neighbor had. I also found a lower front bolster from what I think was a 300 to 450 style tractor (it looks a lot like my M's, but has a 1955 cast date code). I think the tank came from a 400/450, but have no way to be sure. The tractor is long gone. I did find lots of cultivator parts though. The tank has mounting flanges and bolt holes in the flanges. Can anyone give the dimensions between bolt holes for the different tractor types? I am guessing that the 300 & 350 are the same, and the 400 & 450 are the same and wider than the 300 & 350. I would like to sell the tank, but need to know what it is first.
