When I did my WD6 I put some pb blaster on it for about a week and then tried to get it off with a socket but couldn't---I then took my ele. impact wrench and that took it right of, then I took my vise grips and made them large enough to slide on the column under the steering wheel and took a big hammer and beat on the vise grips and it can right off.
