Farmall 460 Ta

I just bought a farmall 460 for 750 dollars on a farm auction and i was told it needs a new ta But i took the top cover off and the planetery gears aren't to shabby. The precious owner told me that he was going around a corner and then the tractor went weeeeeeeeeen then wouldn't move in ta or drive so if you have any ideas what it could be please post a message.
