Here is what my plan is ,, it is for light wieght pulling,, under 4500 lbs, and 12mph,, I am not going all out this time with the engine,, don't want to break it right off the bat HA HA,, here is a few things I found last night,, The 350-early460 had the same clutch and pressure plate,, I think I will either remachine the H flywheel to fit the 6 cyl,, or build a steel one, The back plate on the engine will be about the same as the H,, but I may make it a bit thicker,, I still want to use the original starter on it,, so that would be the hardest part of this swap,, I got the engine out of the combine late last night,, gonna tear the back of it down to make the plates and engine frame mounts later this week, Trust me,, iwill keep all of ya updated,, Maybe this could be the next big thing!! HA HA,, Thank you all for the wisom you all have given me,, Keep it coming!! Any info is great!!!!!!! ChadS

I've heard the arguments for non-detergent oils but would never trade it for today's formulations. Paint is another, the modern acrylic enamels are great for resistance to grease and fuel stains, retaining their shine and they last forever; unlike enamels and lacquers . Still another is the alternator. No doubt using the original generator keeps the tractor pure, but for thos ... [Read Article]
