Believe it or not I am re-furbishing a 1962 model 606. I can't believe I have ran into someone else who shares my night mare. I made my battery box lid and both of my beige pieces of metal that goes under the hood on each side of the tractor. you cant tell it from factory once you get it painted. I would be gald to send you some pictures of my tractor. I would like to talk to you and see your tractor also. I thought that I would be the only one in the country to have a 606, it is the hardest tractor I have ever tried to re-do. Hope to hear from you soon.
