OK..I just bought a 1959 460 Gas utility serial number 2800 SY. previous owner said they resleeved it...It runs good and no smoke. Here goes the questions. 1. It moves to wide open throttle with just a small movement of the lever..Do the govenors go bad or just need adjustment? 2. I didn't see the extra mark indicating the bearing update in the tranny. At some point the TA went out and 4th gear has a chip in it. Should I tear this baby apart and do the update? Do those bearings fail that often? 3.Who is the best company to go to for parts and emblems etc. The tractor is far from a basket case It just needs some attention that it hasn't had in probably 20 years.
