Dunham disk.

Stopped by one of my favorite junk dealers yesterday. One of his new arrivals is a small, tandem disk. It has the name Dunham on each end of the place where you would put cement blocks etc for weight. I never heard of Dunham before. Is this a common name in other parts of the cuntry? A unique feature of this disk is that the end blade or second to the end of each end of each axil has a flange on it that kinda makes it look like a rail road wheel. The flange is 2" or 3" wide and is slightly cone shaped so it is not at a 90 degree angle to the blade. The only thing I can think of is that it is for flotation in very loose or very wet ground. Anyone ever see anything like this? Dave.
