your old manifold is a kerosene manifold with a preheating chamber. the other is a gasoline manifold. it will work great. the only problems i encountered are: while running at near freezing temperatures, frost will form where the carb bolts to the manifold. this is from the cooling process when the fuel vaproizes. may cause a little black smoke due to imcomplete combustion. the other problem will be the location of the exhause pipe. these manifolds have a slightly different location of the outlet, so an alteration to the hood may be in order.
