I have seen it done, but it did not turn me on. That might be because I have seen too many small block chevys in hot rods, and I am sick of them. I would think a nice IH 6.9 or 7.3 diesel from a school bus or a ford pickup would be a great swap. YOu could pull helll off it's hinges with that setup.
I had a F12 with a flathead jeep engine, and that pulled good, and had electric start.
