Doyle: I'm a poor one to ask on this, our last belly pump tractor left the farm in early 60's. Really never tried anything but mineral oil. That is what we used as we found it wasn't as subject to foaming as ordinary 30wt. Contrary to what most people say regarding performance on hydraulics, we found 300 and 560 never matched the lifting abilities of the old H and SM belly pumps. Having said that it was still good to have live hydraulics. This is one reason I tend to shy away from letter series discussion. Other than the SA, I don't have a lot of experience with them. The little bit of experience I did have was so long ago.
