I have a 1967 IH424 diesel and need a ROPS. I learned on this site that my tractor was the basis for the Mahindra E350 series. I emailed Mahindra USA and a nice lady gave me the part# and said it would fit fine. She said I could order it from my local dealer. When my dealer was placing the order he happened to mention it was going on an IH. The rep went ballistic! Mahindra USA said if I killed myself with their parts on my tractor THEY were liable. I said an appropriate ROPS would be much safer than NO ROPS and they said maybe but they wouldn't sell me a ROPS. I tried to order it again saying it was for my "E350" but they now require a serial# to take the order. I guess lawyers affect the way we live even if WE don't use them. Still......if someone out there emailed an E350 serial#......I guess that would violate company policy.
