JD: Like Rick said, you probably have a small crack. Another problem I had was a bit of corosion around edge of distributor, which didn't allow cap to fit tightly. I cleaned that up with knife and wire brush. I have also started spraying ignition spray over cap and wires when dried off good. Older wires can also be a bit of a problem. If you get new wires made up make sure they are the old wire center as opposed to the carbon center wires used on modern automobiles. Finally, where abouts in Canada. Send an e-mail on that one.
