Carl, I've driven an H, M, & and a Ford 860 which is a little bigger than an 8N. H is the most comfortable to drive, and probably the most manuverable. The only thing a Ford has going for it is the 3pt. But if you want, you can get 3pt kits for an H or M. As far as working ground, it all depends on how much you have to do. The H will pull an 8' disc ok, the M doesn't really know it's there. I'd guess an 8footer would make an N series stod dead in it's tracks. They never could seem to ge the tractoin as the farmalls. And if you want to use a 3bottom blow, forget it with an N series. get an M. Dad said he could plow with the M & 2x14 in 4th & the tractor wasn't working hard. Besides, every yuppie that get's a little ground has an N series ford. Bindernut
