1957 Farmall Cub Low Boy

I am a new owner of a non-running 57' Farmall low boy. I do not know anything about tractors at this point. I have to go and retrieve this tractor and I do not even know if it is gas powered or diesel, did they come both ways or all the same? Secondly are the implements hydraulically controlled? I plan on attempting to get it running, ran when parked 5-6 years ago, any tips? I'm sure I'll have more questions later!
