It is common to see 36 and earlier tractors painted red, but this was not a factory thing, it was a repaint, either at the dealer, or on the farm. When I was a teenager in the 60s my cousin took their 10-20 to school for a repaint. He painted it red. It was red when they got it. I recently saw a f12 on the photo ads that was painted grey, but looked to me like a f14, with the raised steering, solid front wheels with removeable front rims. I guess some folks paint them the color they like.
