Darren, It is my understanding that all Farmall tractors prior to the 1937 model year were painted gray. Taking into account that they would have ran out of grau paint sometime in late 1936. Also I heard that some 1936 models that were sent out west were painted red. I believe that if it is pre-1937 then it should have been painted gray. Your 33 should be gray. Dan
