need help! 806 pto removal

i took out all the bolts in the pto unit housing. then i put the two short bolts back in to keep the two housings together.i can't get the whole pto unit to come loose. i am going to get it off and have it rebuilt. what am i doing wrong? does anybody sell a complete rebuilt unit? thanks barry chorum
