Farmall model A valve adjustment

Having done a valve job,and just put the head and valve assembly back
on, I'm now ready to adjust the valve clearance. I know to start with the number one cylinder at top dead center with the 1-4 tdc mark on the flywheel aligned with the pointer on the bell housing. Can I also set the clearance on the number 4 cylinder at the same time since they both are at tdc? I'm not sure where to proceed from here. Does the timing need to be reset as well. As you can tell, I haven't done this before, but want to do it right. Thanks again for your help, everybody has been great with my questions in the past....Mike
