Hi, I have loosened up the 8 bolts that hold the front end, then after all the nessisary parts are removed, I used a cherry picker to support the front end and rails and slide the assembly out from under neath the engine. I would make sure that if you do it that way,, some one is there to help you steady it. FYI!!! after removing the starter, there is a bolt that holds the top of the block to the bell housing,, it is inside the bell housing.. I hope this helps too.. ChadS
