I'd first pull the coil wire off the cap and check if you have spark. Hold the wire close to some metal and turn the engine over you should get spark. If not you have wireing problems, ie bad coil bad points etc. If you have spark go to the carb, pull the drain plug off the bottom if you have gas there good. From there I'd remove the air intake tube from the carb and see if you have a lot of gas in the carb. If not hold your hand over the end of the carb for a moment and turn the engine over at the same time, if it trys to fire you need to clean the carb. Hope this helps you some
