Farmall C Bolt hole ?

Since I don't have any implements, I have a question about a bolt hole and what might bolt there.
Near the top and to the rear of the transmission case there is a tapped hole on each side...maybe about a 3/4 inch hole.
On the left side of my tractor the hole has part of the casting toward the rear broken out.
I've looked through the photo gallery without finding anything that might give me a clue and there really aren't any Farmalls in my area to speak of......I live in "ford country", so I thought I'd ask here on the forum.
