Hey, the problem is probably much, much simpler than you may think and is probably a simple (a nicer word than dumb) mistake on your part. Fart around with it a little bit, you'd be amazed what you may find you did wrong, forgot to do, or misunderstood and installed something wrong where you thought it was right. I've done it all, with carburetor, distributor, valves, rocker arms, brakes, and steering system. It has been a fun ride, and it does give you a laugh when you discover you screwed something up. Now, don't misunderstand my response. I'm not making fun of you, I know how stressful it may be. I'm just saying that there's a good chance it's a simple fix. It is so difficult to try to brainstorm a solution when I can't be there to truly see the problem, but after changing points, plugs, condenser, cap, and rotor in my distributer, I can say that the usual reason for it not kicking off is simple human error.
