Ted,wet sleeves are easy to remove and replace, anyway those I've worked on.You can use a block of wood and a big hammer to drive the sleeves out.Going back in is easy, just take your time. The recommened procedure is to clean the area that the rubber o-ring goes in,you can use a wire brush.Take the new sleeve and slide it down into place to see how it fits(WITHOUT the o-ring in place). If all fit good, put o-ring in place,I put dish soap on the outside of the o-ring and on the sleeve. Then slide the new sleeve in place,it should go in easy. You may want to put some copper sealer around the lip of the sleeve where it matches the block and you may want to LIGHTLY tap the top with a wood block and a hammer to make cure it seats. Then add water to the block untill it is full, let set for awhile(like overnight)and check for leaks.I like to use a spacer and washer to hold the sleeves down while I put the pistions in,just in case the sleeve wants to slips.
