Eric - A few quick SH spotting features: Disc brakes. C164 engine - look for "C164" cast in the upper right rear of the block. Date codes on the larger castings ending in X, Y or Z (corresponds to 1953, 53 and 54). Live hydraulics (battery under the seat). Note however many early Super H's (so called "Stage I" tractors) did NOT have live hydraulics and thus legitimately have the battery under the gas tank. Presence of a Super H decal is pretty much meaningless. There's plenty of H's out there that were "converted" to Supers by the mere addition of that decal!
