Hugh, Great story....I can only imagine the thoughts of the passers by. We used to solve a lot of the world's problems sitting on a milk can or so in the milk house. It got to be that one could almost count on at least one person or so would show up in a pickup just as we would finish chores just so they could get in on one of those sessions.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights. The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony.
