Where you at in Michigan, Paul? I was raised on a farm in central Michigan, west of St. Johns on M21. We did most of our plowing with a 3-16 JD plow behind a McCormick Super W6. I can relate to the clay veins, that ol' W6 would REALLY snort when I hit one. Could usually plow in 3rd, but there were spots in every field where I'd have to drop down to 2nd, and even then it was touch and go.
