You probable used a Fel Pro head gskt. In the past i have had nothing but problems with there head gskt. and some spray copper coat will help along with getting it up to operating temp and retoqureing . On the 263 thru 301 engines i have had to toqure them to the diesel spec's. to get them to seal. The Victor Gskt. is much better.
