If everything is adjusted right, you are not hurting the TA, but the high side is straight through and not really cuasing any wear n the planetaries, as is happening on the low side. We used to run our 350 on low side quite a bit of the time, plowing and discing, and never had any trouble with it. Just rmeember to keep it adjusted right, and don't eas the lever in or out. Squeeze the handle and let it go. Also, change the hy-tran in the transmission regularly to extend the life of the TA.
