I just finished rebuilding a H water pump and when I dug out the old packing I realized it was none other than DUCT TAPE. Somebody finely crafted it and shoved it down in the tube. It was pretty tough to get out, I had to use my trusty used dental tool that my dentist gave me years ago and the tape was no match for it. Theres nothing like a nice rebuilt water pump, its to bad Farmall had such a strange design.
