I've never tried double clutching but I became very good at speed shifting up or down one gear when pulling trailing implements without hydraulics, usually while turning. Only remember locking the transmission once. My dad was not very happy with me!

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
