Don't ever expect it to start on all 6 at once. I have had mine about 30 years it starts on 4 then progresses to 6 that is the nature of a 460D It is a very smooth running eng. and very easy on fuel. Mine got very hard to start once the started was dragging and we didn't relize it, I have a place on the frame for the batt. and just use 1 12volt with a good batt and starter it should turn over very fast always have to hold glow plugs after it starts for a few sec.even it summer it is a good tractor though. My wife was born and raised just south of P HWY which goes east from hwy 63 in Maries Co. Her brother still lives on the farm there
