That rear fuel tank support is just a bolt on bracket, actually the trouble is that the fuel outlet is in the wrong place. On the Super A they had to move it forward from the A/B location to clear the touch control assy. That's why the A/B is not as likely to run out of gas going up hill as the Super A and later tractors. I often back these tractors up a long hill if I know they are low on fuel (kept me from walking back for the gas can several times). Your ans is correct though! No it woln't fit. One from a C would fit.
