That's why I used an auto test meter. They normally have a low/high range. I took the meter apart, set it to the low range and used white-out to cover the high range numbers. You could also use a tach with a digital readout. J.C. Whitney, as well as others, has them available. That way there would be no range to worry about. Have fun.
