JW, the 434 was built in England. The gas models wer shipped without an engine to the US and fitted with a C153, the diesel model was shipped with the Brittish engine BD154. There are piles of them in Canada. They were made from 1966-69 and updated as the 444 in 1970.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
