I have two Hebard Shop Mules which are essentially lowboy Farmall A's with lots of other modifications. At first glance, it looks like an easy job to modify an A or Super A tractor and turn the final drives down to lower the tractor. However, after some study, I realized that the bolts on the final drive connection are not evenly spaced. The final drived are rotated on the Shop Mules to lower the tractor, just like is done on the Cub Lowboy, however, an adapter plate is required between the transmission housing and the final drive housing in order to do it. Having those made, I think would be quite an expensive machine shop job, or would require a very well equipped hobby shop, or other access to machining equipment.
