We are only the caretakers of the old iron and to have the opportunity you have to keep something such as a tractor in a family for generations is priceless. I expect my 63 year old H to be around another 63 years+. It is NOT a family heirloom now but I will see that it gets a good home when my time's up. I wish it was my dad's old tractor but at least I know he farmed with similar models in a time when the mules were replaced with tractors. I have an old Winchester that was my great granddad's that is worth about $1500 to a stranger, but to me it is priceless and will never be sold.
