If the j bolt does not work forget the housing drain the rear end remove the PTO remove the cap screw from the end of that axle and remove the washer but the screw all the way back in get a piece of shaft that will fit between the 2 cap screws of each axle and screw the loose screw back out and it will bush the axle out of the housing then if you want to change the inside bearing pull the bull gear back some and move it over to other side you should be able to get at the bearing. you can not pull the housing off the axle you have to pull the axle then the housing.
