Soundguy, First, a belated welcome to this list. It's nice to see you giving your Cub the same careful servicing you give to your Fords. As you have already found, the final drives are not mirror images, but really are the same castings. One filler is in front, and the other is in the rear. There is no drain plug...you must remove the pan to change the lube. Best to get new gaskets before you do so. The zerk on the PTO can be confusing. Normally, the rear bearing is lubed by oil that is splashed around by the gears. The zerk is there to provide a way to lube the bearing when the tractor is used for stationary power using the belt pulley attachment and the gears are not moving. George Willer
