The 1 pt hitch is the factory hitch that came on the A - 140. It has a socket that the spear on the piece of equipment fits into. All you do is back up to the equipment, the spear goes into the socket and the latch drops to hold it in place, you never leave the seat. These mowers are still available from agrisupply (www.agri-supply.com), they also have several stores in the virginia and carolina area. The reason I switch back and forth is I have several pieces of 1 pt as well as 3 pt. equipment (takes about 5 minutes to switch out). Email me if you'd like some pics.
