200 distributor drive lube

Just took off the the dist to install new points and condenser. The gear drive and the inside of the housing look pretty cruddy either from poor lube or condensation. My question is how is the gear drive lubicated? Does it get oil from the govenor or is it packed with grease.

Appreciate any comments from anyone that has been into this area.
