Look closley at what each set comes with. The more expensive set probably has something that the cheaper set dosen't. Mabey the cheaper set dosen't come with piston pins, bushings, or retainers. Installing them is the easy part. They'll probably drop part of the way in (they might even drop all the way in), then you set a wood block across the top, and tap the sleeve the rest of the way in, then set a straight edge across the top of the sleeve and measure how much clearance there is between the top of the block and the straight edge. Measure in several different places. This is called sleeve protusion, your service manual should have a spec. for it.
