Fan Leaking Oil on BN

The cooling fan on my BN is a Schwitzer-Cummins, and it is leaking oil between the spindle and bearing on the rear side. The manual says to add engine oil, but I don't see an oil seal on the spindle. Is there a way to seal it, or should I put in grease? Thank you.

By the way, I did get the BN ready for our show, The Buckley Old Engine Show. The engine sat filled with water for about 15 years, and I got it completed just before the show.
