Common problem, I wouldn't worry about the engine unless it starts giving problems. Remove the hydraulic pump, and you will find either an o-ring or a seal on the shaft that goes to the gear that engages the cam gear. Might as well replace the other seals and gaskets at the same time. If the shaft has a seal replace it, and use a speedy sleeve if the shaft is grooved (about $25 from a bearing place). If it is an o-ring and you have a groove, you either need to have the shaft rebuilt by someone who knows what they are doing, or enlarge the hole the shaft goes through and then use a speedy sleeve. If you have the shaft rebuilt, it needs to be done without too much heat, so as not to lose the temper and possibly cause breakage. There are procedures for that. Mine had an o-ring, and I had the machine shop enlarge the hole in the housing and use a speedy sleeve. Haven't used the tractor much since, far as I know it isn't leaking.
