For a good removal of all rust try this. Dip the 2 castings in a plastic container of muriatic acid for 5 to 8 minutes then take them out rinse with water and then with lacquer thinner then spray the inside with WD40 and blow out with compressed air . You will be very satisfied. See Ya, Tim K.
