The only info on decal placement I know of is the "Farmall F- Series photo archive" book. A great book of original photos which makes it hard to argue about decal placement. If your F-20 is the later model with throttle controlls on left side of fuel tank (late 37 and 38,39 with flat iron fuel tank support, not cast) decals are positioned different on left side of tank. This is picky but why not do it original!
