The oil you use will not change a thing on lifting capacity. Having said that your system should lift the 4 row cyclo full of seed and fertilizer. In fact it should play with it. I used to plant some with my 300 and same planter, same pump although persure relief and other valves may be different. What I have seen of these tractors back when they were new is Super H's in fact all H's had an edge on the 300, for lifting capacity. It sounds as though your pump may not be right up to snuff. The single biggest reason I planted most of time with 656 was power. Comfort and manuverability were also quite large factors. My 300 had seen better days when I bought the cyclo planter in 1975, and I found it just a bit lacking on power even on level ground. On the hydraulics end I actually liked it better than 656. I shouldn't knock the 300 too hard on the power end either as it did run the planter, but was at it's limit most of time.
