Hello Im new to the Farmall Family and I would like to know some information on my tractor. I have been trying to find out the value and year of my tractor. All I have found so far is the serial number , which is U008940 . The serial tag reads Model 300 Serial U008940 Max load 1960 I have plaques in stailless steel on the tractor that say " Mc Cormick and Torque Amplifier and of corse Farmall 300 . This is a working tractor and is not in show condition . The tractor works great ! and has been modified from a generator charging system to an alternator type. It runs on gas and has a 3 point hitch system. It has a wide wheel base in the front meaning the two front tires and not close together as I have seen in some pictures. I bought the tractor when I purchased a new old house with a very lond driveway Approx 1000 Ft. There is a large snow blower which attaches to the back of the tractor which will come in handy with snow removal this winter . So what I would like to know is how much is my tractor worth and how can I find out what year it was manufactured? It came with the original manual which has been some good reading in learning more about my new machine There sure are a great deal of grease fittings on her !! :-) Any information and or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cash
