Same deal for me. Had to run my 140 with the choke pulled out. I had a mechanic friend soak the carb for 4 days in the cleaner. He then put a re-build kit in it. Put the carb on the 140 last weekend and it ran like new with the choke all the way open. Make sure you are not sucking air around the carb to manifold gasket. Best of luck....Gerald
