what do youthink of this 656?

I'm looking for a 656 thats in pretty good shape.my buddys older brother has one for sale. its a gas,nf,dual hydraulics and is gear drive. It runs decent and the tires are ok, but the shifting linkage is messed up,the brakes are shot,sheetmetal is rough,and the 3point adapters are missing.. what do u people think it might be worth at a fair price. He wants 3000 for it. i think thats kinda high considering the condition. i dont want to get ripped but i also dont wantn to rip him off..let me know what you think
